Those who tie many of the very tiny or intricate patterns, the Fine Point
Jaw Conversion with its sharp angled and fine pointed jaws provide
excellent hook accessibility and work especially well for pinching
material onto the hook or tying around the bend.
An Alignment Hook can be used in the Front Hub to facilitate
positioning the hook in a perfect centerline position. This centerline is
determined by running thread from the hub to the Thread Post and moving
the Jaw Support Arm up or down until the hook shank just touches, then
tighten the Clamping Screw. Another interesting feature of this design is
the is with the Jaw Support Arm loose the Jaws can be rotated 90° to face
the tier, for weaving bodies, shaping spun deer hair, adjusting splayed
wings etc.
