The Automatic Bobbin solves the problem of getting the bobbin out of the way, yet instantly having it come right back to where its needed.

• The Norlander Automatic Bobbin is a very innovative, patented design. A stainless steel spring/clutch mechanism is housed in a precision-machined aluminum hub.
• Interchangeable machined aluminum spools press onto this hub, held in place by friction from an "O" ring. These spools will hold from 50 to 500 yards of your favorite fly tying thread.
• Thread can be transferred onto the aluminum spools with an electric drill or with the Nor-Vise itself and a spooling arbor.
• Thread is guided to the perfect tying point through a fine ceramic tube.
• Thread tension is controlled simply by squeezing the bobbin spool when tying, each turn of thread will then be exactly as tight or as light as needed.
• This unique bobbin can also be used with other vises to improve thread control and production.
